Hi, my name is Caroline Nettleford and I am a printmaker specialising in linocut.

I have a passion for depicting nature in my work... in particular the beautiful world of birds.

I begin each work with photographs or sketches before transferring my ideas onto a lino block. I then begin the slow process of carving using a selection of hand tools and finally hand print the block using a press.

My prints often depict my personal encounters with wildlife, reminding us beauty can be found all around if we just take the time to notice it.
